Whistlestop Wednesday Book Review: "Lucky Baby" by Meredith Efken

Meg Lindsay and her husband both come from typical dysfunctional homes. She has turned to God, her husband turned to science. After agreeing not to have children, Meg wants to adopt. The struggle the couple faces in their own relationship and with their families will tug at heart strings everywhere.

Lucky Baby weaves faith and fantasy in a way that gives you a clear understanding of what the characters are going through. This book will open the eyes of those who have a troubled relationship with their parents or with their children. Anyone who has adopted a child from another country can also understand the heart wrenching anxiety displayed in parts of this book.

I recommend Lucky Baby to anyone who is willing to weep while they read. This book is available at http://meredithefken.com/.

*The author provided a complimentary copy of this book to me for purposes of review.
